Advanced Optoelectronics Technology Materials Alliance

The Alliance is committed to building an interdisciplinary technology platform that integrates chemical materials, precision optics, and semiconductor processing. By developing novel optoelectronic materials through chemical synthesis and combining advanced optical inspection with device design, we aim to break through the current technological bottlenecks in the semiconductor industry. The Alliance’s core mission is to connect academic research capabilities with industry needs, driving innovation and transformation of optoelectronic technologies for next-generation semiconductor applications.

The Chou Research Team is primarily dedicated to the molecular engineering of organic semiconductors and high-performance polymer elastomers (electronic skin), as well as the design and development of silicon carbide materials.

By leveraging computational physics, machine learning, and big data analytics, device structural simulations and performance predictions are conducted. Simulation tools are developed to optimize the design workflow.
